Correction Election 2010

It has been 4 years since the Democrats seized control of the House of Representatives and the United States Senate and 2 years since the election of President Obama.
On the eve of another important election a familiar phrase from Los Angeles Police Detective, Sergeant Joe Friday comes to mind…”Just The Facts Ma’am.”
Recent elections made it official that Americans have soundly rejected the big-government, over-reaching policies of President Obama and his rubber-stamping liberal lackeys. Americans have come to realize that the progressive agenda is at this very moment changing America from a maker nation into a taker nation. That is about to change in a few days as Americans head to the polls to vote out democratic incumbents in massive numbers. VOTER ALERT: This has not gone unnoticed as democrats on all levels are deceptively campaigning as fiscal conservatives and running from Obama and their legislative failures. It is pathetic to see local democratic incumbents aka. Rep.Tim Briggs and Joe Sestak campaigning as invisible democrats.
It is Halloween and these guys are dressing up as fiscal watch dogs and knocking on your door BUT be very afraid as the mask is a trick and their treats are for special interest paid for with your candy money. Sending out mailings devoid of any mention to your party trying to fool the voting public is disingenuous and only reinforces the reality that you will do anything to get re-elected. The Democrats have consistently ignored the will of the majority of the American people, mindlessly whittled away their position as the party in power and are now a national disgrace. This will be a correction election as Americans re-embrace, balanced budgets, flat tax rates across the board, school choice, traditional family values, and the free market system as the most power economic engine to get Americans back to work. Stop the policies of the job killing liberal democrats and vote for common sense conservative candidates.

The Tea Party Has Arrived!

The Tea Party has arrived! Although most people think this is a new powerful movement it is really just the silent majority of America beginning to purify itself from the status quo of the two party systems and more importantly the liberal/progressive mentality that has morphed itself into all aspects of our national identity. The American people are beginning to raise their pitchforks at the ballot box to cast their votes against not only recent monumental failures but also a generation of abuse of power. Americans have finally come to the realization that their elected representatives have only been representing themselves at the expense of the whole country and our future generations.
Americans realize that the community based entitlement philosophy of the liberal doctrine has stripped Americans of national pride, a sense of self worth, competitive spirit, individual accountability, quality education/teachers and real hope for the future.
The mainstream media, established politicians, academia and Hollywood have been and will continue to demonize The Tea Party because they realize this is not just a movement but a history setting national transformational movement that will discredit their whole belief system to the trash heap of history. Recent Tea Party Victories indicate Americans now yearn to return to the spirit of our founding fathers as a nation whose people were granted "unalienable rights" by our Creator most notably the rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The Tea Party has become a conduit for Americans that believe in fiscal responsibility and a government that respects individuals to spend the money that is the fruit of their own labor. Constitutionally Limited Government meaning the Constitution of the United States to be the supreme law of the land and Free Markets flourishing through personal independent entreprenerualship. The Tea Party has helped exposed the reflection of what America sees when looking into a mirror and that is imperial incompetence, decadence, monetary trouble, and expansionist military problems. USA Has Morphed Into A Sanctuary Country

If you ask most Americans if they know the meaning behind the term Sanctuary City they look at you with a blank stare and when informed of the meaning you get bewilderment, uncertainty and then anger because the average American places blind trust in their elected leaders to uphold the laws on the books in their town.

Never in their wildest dreams could they imagine that elected officials on the local, state and national levels have been passing sanctuary policies limiting local, state and federal employee’s of the ability to report the presence of illegal aliens to the federal authorities for deportation proceedings.

Please do not confuse laws that protect "immigrant rights" with illegal aliens because immigrants have entered the USA legally and have to maintain legal presence. Illegal aliens have entered the USA illegally and hence have no rights and are subject to deportation.

These sanctuary policies have created a safe haven for illegal aliens all across our great nation allowing millions upon millions of illegal aliens to walk across our unprotected borders and settle down in any town USA.

As of this writing there are 167 stated sanctuary Cities including Philadelphia in the USA and the whole state of Maine with many more using unwritten sanctuary policies. The devastating effects of these sanctuary policies have not missed as single town in America as the rising tide of illegal aliens suppress wages, receive free medical treatment, food stamps, public schooling, and WIC.

It is you my friend the taxpayers who end up paying for all of these services.
When illegals get arrested, again it is taxpayers who pay for their court services and imprisonment. All of this is complete insanity but the worst is the criminal element of these illegal aliens that murder US citizens either intentionally or inadvertently through auto accidents or other means. If the current sanctuary policies were not in place these individuals would never had been snatched from their loved ones in the first place.

President Obama Fights For Open Borders and Amnesty

Arizona's SB 1070 new immigration law and subsequent federal lawsuit to keep it from going into effect has polarized the country and crystallized the administrations position of not securing the southern border and siding with illegal aliens over the rights of United States citizens. Lets be very clear about the president and the democratic parties position on illegal aliens invading our country, increasing crime rates, and sapping federal and state resources meant for U.S. citizens. The Obama administration is not waiting for immigration reform they are just employing a de-facto amnesty policy by “not enforcing the immigration laws currently on the books” and now have proceeded to handcuff the State of Arizona from protecting itself from the daily onslaught of thousands of illegal aliens and violent criminals through the court system. The President and his attorney general that called all Americans “cowards” for not having open, honest discussions on the race issue may have won this little legal battle but trying to proclaim racism is the monster lurking behind the curtain in the form of one certain race is only practicing and reinforcing the racism you claim others are guilty of. Most Americans are in favor of Arizona’s new immigration law and not in favor of the federal lawsuit to stop it.
Do not be fooled by the tactics of the administration and the left by calling everyone racist for not agreeing with them on basically anything anymore, as it is their only card left in the game. Their socialist agenda has alienated a majority of Americans so their main goal is to grant amnesty to 30+ million illegal aliens and in turn their votes in 2012. It will not work as the president and the democrats continue their counter productive immigration strategy and constantly fighting the “will of the people” they will lose control of the House of Representatives and the Senate this November and the country will be left with a 1st term lame duck president that has lost the support of the American people.

Customer Convenience Or Is It?

There is talk in the media that environmentalism is the new religion of a large segment of America. But I believe there something else that Americans will gravitate towards as a whole people and will justify any means to that end to achieve and have been doing so knowingly or unwittingly since the dawn of the industrial revolution or as long as I can remember and continue to do so today.

When I was a youngster my pop would regularly take a ride to the local lumber yard with list in hand to pick up tools and material for what ever project he was doing at the time. I did not care or even know what the project was most of the time, only that I was going for a ride in the front seat. On the way we would occasionally stop at the local gas station and pull right up to the pumping station islands. There we were greeted by a service station attendant that would pump the gas, clean the windshield, check the oil, and tire pressure all as a courtesy. Of course I would watch all of this take place every time from the soda machine and yea pop always sprung for the change.

Arriving at the lumber yard everyone would park in the front and go to the main desk area. There one of the owners would greet all the customers, take the material list and hand it over to a yard helper. Pop would then pay the bill and move the station wagon to the loading area of the lumber yard. The yard helpers would then load your vehicle and you would be on your way.

Since there were no cell phones at the time mom would give pop a small grocery list to pick up on the way home. This was an easy chore as the grocery store always had a cash register attendant and a helper to bag your goods.

Let’s fast forward to 2009, take the same trips and notice how things have changed.

A trip to the local gas station will find “you” the customer exiting your vehicle sometimes dressed in your finest clothes in all kinds of weather day and night to pump your own gas, wash your own window, check your own oil, and tire pressure.
If you are paying with cash you have to then walk into the service station or mini mart to pay the attendant that has absolutely no knowledge about any of the services you just completed on your own vehicle. Remember to smile the next time you get gas on your hand or clothes because the previous user didn’t use the pump properly. Remember to smile the next time you get gas and get very wet because it is raining. Remember to smile the next time you get gas knowing that U.S. oil companies just reported the biggest profits ever in a one year period…40 billion dollars and that’s just 1 company and Remember to smile the next time you get gas because the reason they went to self serve is because “you” the customer wanted the “Convenience” and prices would be lower since they no longer needed to pay salaries to Service Station attendants …. Remember to smile as you watch the price of gas go up day after day after day.
“Convenience” is a beautiful thing, no?

Next we will stop at the new local lumber yards that are nothing more than giant self service box stores that cater to contractors but will provide the average homeowner bulky heavy steel carts to navigate long cluttered isles all the while loading your own material aka: sheet rock, lumber, shrubbery, or whatever is on your list.
Checking out is a “project” in itself as they usually have two registers with actual store employees and 4 to 6 self serve check out area’s because “you” the customer wanted the “Convenience” of checking yourself out. I guess their right because every time I look around I see all of “your” happy faces standing in long lines at the self serve check out counter! After we check our selves out we then get to push our heavy carts into the crowded parking area and load our own vehicles.
“Convenience” is a beautiful thing, no?

The trip to the grocery store is a joke today. The only problem is that mothers across America are crying real tears over the cost of every day goods. As national chains buy up local chains the expected results are slashing personal and customer service and of course raising the costs of goods. Remember to smile the next time you are standing in those notoriously long super market check out lines because “you” the customer wanted the “Convenience” of checking yourself out.

I don’t recall at any time over the years any survey or questioner form from any store or company asking me if I wanted self service area’s to check myself out, do you?

It seems as if Corporate America has creatively led you and I to believe that they are giving you the convenience that you said you wanted by letting you perform the services and duties that they used to pay an employee to perform for “you” the paying customer….Ah “Convenience” or is it?

Racism Past Column Example of Todays Democratic Playbook...

Bonnie Erbe recently had a piece in The Times Herald (May18, 2008) based on an article in The Washington Post of the current state of the Democratic Presidential Primaries and the voting tendencies of some older, white, less educated, working class voters particularly in “Factory Towns” being racist for not voting for Barack Obama and that only the younger, better educated “white” urban voters had the higher consciousness to see past the “Black” in the candidate.

The Washington Post is a Liberal Media Mouthpiece trying to divert from the fact that Obama is not receiving votes because he is black but because he is to
liberal, period.

Ms.Erbe knows this because although she noted that Obama receives an overwhelming majority of the black vote, she did not call their voting tendencies racist nor did she mentioned anything about their education level or working class status.

This is the nonsense that has been ingrained into our students within the walls of liberal colleges and promoted incessantly in the general media that only “whites” have and had the capacity to practice racism in America.

Racism is learned in the home from the parents, molded and entrenched in the streets.
Racism is everywhere all around the world in our faces everyday.

Trying to proclaim racism is the monster lurking behind the curtain in the form of one certain race is only practicing and reinforcing the racism you claim others are guilty of.

20 of the past 28 years have been won by the right of center candidate because when all the campaigning is done Americans vote on economic issues and want to keep as much money in their pocket and not have it dispersed by a party trying to expand on a base of voters only concerned about the benefits received not through their own hard work but the hard work of others in the name of fairness, equality and justice.

Buyers Remorse Setting In Quickly

The Obama presidential apprenticeship melodrama mega media training wheels tour is pedaling American guilt and weakness over seas and unconstitutional bank grabs at home. This is an appeasement mentality administration on the world stage and an aggressive affirmative action administration on U.S. economic and social policies. Our enemies sense a weak, inexperienced, indecisive, reactionary, ill prepared, non-confrontational man-child sitting in the Oval Office and have concluded it is now time to not only test American will and strength but to attack it head on. North Korea testing a long range nuclear capable missile with Iran’s help that could reach Japan and United States homeland. Iran’s stepped up global war against America, Israel and every country with democratic ideals and recently the arresting of American journalist Roxana Saberi for espionage and being sentenced to 8 years in prison. China calling for a
one-world currency to replace the U.S. Dollar and Obama's pathetic tax cheat Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner actually stating that he “was open to the idea”. Russia shutting off gas flow to Europe to let the world know they too control a majority of the worlds oil supplies. Somalia teenage militant pirates attacking a U.S. Tanker and holding Captain Richard Phillips hostage for 4 days…. 4 days! and the Taliban on the march to take over Pakistan.
Obama’s response so far is to bow to Arab dirt ball oil sheiks, embrace tyrants like Cuba’s Castro and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez who called President Bush “the Devil” an America “the most murderous imperial empire in the history of the world”, meekly reacting to the North Korea missile launch and taking credit for sitting on his hands while the Commanding Officer at the scene of the ‘Pirate hostage stand off” finally gave the order to take out the pirates out due to Obama’s in-action.
In a short 100 days Obama has proven that as President he is not capable of appreciating and defending the incredible positive effect our country has had on the development of the modern world. If Obama cannot even defend America’s reputation how can we expect him to protect our nation?

I would like to send a message in the language of English to governments of all levels, to all businesses large and small, to the world of Academia and anyone else that is or might be inclined to:

Please stop trying to force the Spanish language down our throats.
Its shameless pandering and offensive to the rest of the Immigrants that have come to America legally learned the English language and assimilated into the American fabric.
Also…most of us have a hard enough time communicating with each other in our native tongue! (See first article)

Disaster In The Gulf Of Mexico

The massive oil disaster in The Gulf Of Mexico is an environmental nightmare that will be in the forefront of our national conscious for decades. With our planet bleeding oil at a shockingly high-undetermined rate the actions taken by BP in the first 50+ days have been to recover the spewing oil, never to stop it. Having spent millions tapping into this projected vast oil reserve of 500 million to 1 billion barrels of oil BP is not concerned with losing 20 million gallons until the emergency drilling is completed in August. This behavior is not unexpected from multi-national corporations. Accidents happen and BP will be empathetically proactive even as the environmental damage rises to unprecedented levels. The mission remains the same oil recovery is paramount. Many have blamed our governments slow response to the disaster and especially President Obama’s reluctance to accept help from the best minds in the industry worldwide. Presidents are tested daily and are expected to respond to disasters with firm decisive vision that is communicated with clarity to everyone. The disaster in The Gulf Of Mexico is just another clear illustration of President Obama’s inexperience that lends itself to ongoing indecisive, reactionary and ill prepared responses to every test that has crossed his desk in the Oval Office. From the stimulus debacle to immigration to healthcare to Guantanamo Bay to dealing with the leaders on the world stage and now the oil mess Obama has shown that every instinct he possesses is counterproductive to the United States national, economic and environmental security interests.

Liberal deraignment syndrome has paralyzed basic common sense decision-making on all levels in this country for the past 30 years.

For those of us that have been around long enough to actually understand the constant nonsense spewing from our national and regional leaders let me clarify some issues that confront us so there is no confusion going forward.
Candidate Obama promised Hope n Change. Since the candidate turned President the U.S. economy has lost 4 million jobs in 11 months.
We don’t want to hear about jobs “saved” because yes, that is nonsense.
The Healthcare debate is not about healthcare it is about control and indebtedness. The Democratic Party wants to force National Healthcare on all Americans and non-Americans (Yes Illegal Immigrants) to expand and control a new constituency guarantying a new majority for decades going forward, period. If a politician tells you they are doing something for you, back away slowly. Common sense Americans understand that when we are at war the enemy is our enemy. When the enemy attacks us on U.S. soil and kills over 3 thousand innocent Americans and we catch those that had a hand in planning the attack and they admit it, even they understand the consequences. War criminals should be tried in Military Courts because they are war criminals not U.S. citizens. President Obama, Congressman Sestak and others do not understand this basic fundamental fact and support allowing the terrorists to be tried in the U.S. Court system giving captured war criminals the same rights under U.S. Law as you and me. This is political correctness at the height of its lunacy and only reinforces the liberal deraignment syndrome that has paralyzed basic common sense decision-making on all levels in this country for the past 30 years. If President Obama, Congressman Sestack and other elected representatives willfully support giving U.S. legal rights to war criminals then I believe they are not fit for office and should resign.

A Little Common Sense ...Please

The only real solution to the constant up & down cycles of the economy is to eliminate the core cause. That would be the progressive tax system now in place taxing the earning power of Americans.

It is counterproductive in a capitalistic market economy. If we switched over to a consumption tax system the earning power of Americans would immediately rise 30% or more, companies and Americans investing in the stock market would have all of their assets to confidently invest in the future with and the government would still be generating more than enough consumption tax revenue to provide services to the American people.

As we know there is enough blame to go around with the current economic mess but now is the perfect time to contact our state representatives and tell them that the American people are fed up with constant wasteful spending and that includes “forced taxpayer bailouts” through acts of Congress for their spit-swapping buddies on “Free Fall Wall Street”. All government agencies need to “justified for their existence”. If the agency does not perform a direct beneficial needed service to the American people then it needs to be abolished.

With the term abolished in mind all of those on capital hill that voted for and continue to vote for “forced taxpayer bailouts” need to be abolished also. The next election cycle is right around the corner, please remember their names. The cry that the sky would fall if we did not pass the bailout has fallen on deaf ears as Wall Street grabbed your billions and locked the doors….

When children get caught stealing from the cookie jar you do not

America needs candidates and representatives of any party that will always put the common sense needs of Americans first and foremost.

Americans are being forced to learn to live within their means and will do so and come out better for it. They expect their government to do the same.

Excusing Illegals Sends Wrong Message

I am weighing in on the Immigration problem that has come to the
forefront recently. One can understand families wanting a better life and taking a chance to cross the Mexican/United States border to achieve this goal.

Obviously we would not be in this position if the American Government properly secured its southern border and American employers on all
levels were not so eager to substitute cheap foreign illegal labor for
jobs with real wages, health benefits, and pensions. The slogan that
Americans won't do these jobs is a smoke screen for the American Governments unwillingness to control the southern border and employers that want to "cheat" the system and not compete on a level playing field.

Blame also lies at the feet of the Mexican Government as it has fallen short in its responsibility to secure its own borders and has been more than willing to let millions of its own people cross into the United States as this reduces the burden of providing employment and services for its own citizens.

When employers hire illegal labor they undermine the partnership
between the employee, the employer, and government programs in place to help all of us. When the employer pays the illegal laborer "Cash Wages" he cheats the system by not paying taxes that fund the programs that are in place to help all "Legal United States Citizens", many that have paid taxes all their working lives.

Individuals cannot sneak into The United States Of America and demand citizenship and all the benefits that come with that without going through the proper immigration procedures now in place. With a certain percentage of illegal labor collecting government programs with stolen Social Security numbers and not paying taxes on their wages they are "stealing" American funded benefits “they” have not contributed to and have
no right to.

How long can the system be "illegally drained" before Social Security
and other programs are seriously depleted.

If the President, Senate, and the House grant immunity on any level
they will be sending a message to the American public that they are not willing to uphold the immigration laws now on the books, they cannot secure our borders, they are appeasing special interests on all levels, and being an American born citizen and working within the system is no
longer relevant.

Americans are a proud, fair, and compassionate people but we have to take a stand on protecting our natural borders and understanding the consequences of not doing so.

There are and will always be Nations, Terrorist Groups, and Individuals whose main goal is to destabilize and bring down America. I would encourage the Senate and House of Representatives to pass a
strong Pro-American bill that will:

1.) Immediately suspend all benefits to illegal immigrants.
2.) Secure America’s borders on all fronts.
3.) Place severe monetary penalties on corporate, regional, and individual employers that knowingly hire illegal labor.
4.) Instruct the Government to cross check and identify Social Security fraud and suspend illegal benefits.
5.) Form a common sense immigration policy that will allow a manageable flow of worldwide immigrants into our country.

We cannot expect our government to deport millions of illegal immigrants. We can expect the government to confront the issue
head-on. Suspending illegal benefits will force both the illegal laborer and the employer to get on board and get both of them “Back on the Books” and contributing to the system for the benefit of all.
This will also streamline the process of providing all illegals with proper identification and Social Security numbers so they can be properly assimilated into the American fabric.

By securing America’s borders on all fronts we reaffirm our deep appreciation and debt to all those service men and women that have served valiantly for the United States Of America.
