Mirror, mirror on the wall without a bail out will they fall?
Hurry, hurry screams the king we must not wait, we must not stall.
Bailouts, bailouts in the air, is it us they mean to scare?
No time to read, no time to ponder tax and spend to kill the monster
Shout it from the rooftops all across the land
Earmarks, earmarks for every woman and every man
A few wise men wonder how can this be?
If you keep feeding the monster will it not eat me?
The King had promised hope and change
The looking glass had called his name
Read from me and you will not falter
Stray from me and fall from the alter
Stay on script a catastrophe a day
The looking glass promised ye King would get his way
Beat down the masses they will fear the night
Soon they will lay down and give up the fight
The wise men knew of the Kings secret plan
Tax their wealth, their health, their souls, and their land
Take away their speech, their guns, their liberty, and their fun
Nanny state, nanny state we shall all be as one
Mirror, mirror on the wall will we stand or will we fall?
Hurry, hurry the wise men plead raise your pitchforks and Godspeed
The King is early in his term but the hour is late we must stand firm
Our Kingdoms fate so soon on the line
We must not fail for our children’s time
